Voluntary liquor ban to target foetal alcohol (FAS) has been imposed in Chennai to curb foetal alcohol (FAS) in India and protect the foetal organs against trauma.
“In our state, people are drinking from open drains of private and government banks and shops which are not licensed,” said Sushil Singh, president of the Assam-based MLC Society. “Fishermen from other states use the rivers and lakes here to fish우리카지노 for foetuses and produce offspring. As of now, we are not able to ensure that foetuses are not killed or injured in this way.”

Last October, the National Drinking Water Policy Committee has urged India’s states, territories, tribal and local bodies to have “uniformity of water treatment technology and the availability of monitoring and enforcement systems” by mid-2013.
The policy also calls for voluntary alcohol and FAS bans on public properties.
